We’ll cover how to set your TV to automatically update apps below, but assuming you haven’t already set this feature up (or why would you be here?), here’s how to manually navigate to your app, as well only check and install available updates.
Step 1: From the home screen of your Samsung TVs, locate and select your TVs apps menu. This is where you will find all the apps installed on your TV, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu and others.

2nd step: To select one of the apps you want to check and click on it. When the window opens with the application information, there will be a button that will say Open if the app is up to date. If an update is available, the button will say, you guessed it, Update. Click on it and the update will download and install itself.

As fun as updating your apps is, we recommend setting your Samsung Smart TV to automatically scan for and update apps. It’s simple too. Here’s how.
Step 1: From the home screen of your Samsung TVs, locate and select your TVs apps menu, then in the upper right corner of the screen, select the Settings gear icon.

2nd step: Then you will see the Automatic update button in the upper right corner. Make sure it is set to At position – it will be a blue color. When a new update is available, your apps update automatically, so you can focus on them yellow jackets final instead.
