1. Uninstall updates on Android system web view

  • Next, tap the 3-dot menu at the top right.
  • Next, tap on the “Uninstall updates” tab.

2. Disable Google Chrome

If you are unable to find Android System WebView under Apps, another option is to disable Google Chrome. Once done, the Android System WebView app will become visible.

To disable Google Chrome, follow the steps below:

1. Open Settings, go to apps, then Google Chrome.

2. Press the “Disable” button.

If your apps keep crashing, there will be no need to uninstall the Android System WebView update. However, if the apps keep crashing, you need to uninstall the updates. Follow all the steps in the method mentioned at the beginning.
