    Open launcher

The first thing you need to do to remove all the apps you want is to open the launcher, which is the circle icon in the lower left corner of the screen.

Tap it to bring up a small menu with an up arrow, a search bar, and a few recently used apps at the bottom. To open the app drawer, tap the up arrow at the top.

  2. Stage

Right click on the app you want to remove

Once you hit the up arrow, you should be greeted with a Launchpad-style list of apps where you can select an app to remove.

To select it, right-click on the icon by pressing down on your trackpad with two fingers.

  3. Stage
    3

Tap Uninstall or Remove from Chromebook

Tap the trackpad with two fingers to bring up a pop-up menu where you can either pin the app to your shelf or uninstall it and view all app information. Of course, we’re going to remove the app, so tap “Uninstall”.

    Select Uninstall

To confirm removal of this app, tap “Uninstall”. This should then completely remove the app from your Chromebook. If you find that you deleted something by mistake, just go to the Google Play Store and download it again.

If it’s not an app you need to remove but a Chrome extension (these aren’t in the app menu), open a Chrome window and navigate to the three stacked dots in the upper right corner. Then go to ‘More tools’ then ‘Extensions’. Here you will be able to deactivate extensions that you no longer want or need.
If you want to reinstall any of them, head to the Chrome Store and search for the extension so you can redownload them later.
